It takes great courage to make that initial call and I am so happy these women did.

Healing from a past abortion is not easy. In fact, it can be very painful, but carrying around that "secret" alone for years is far worse. I often compare it to lugging around a backpack filled with rocks…it can cripple you, but once you begin to address it, little by little you throw out the stones and in the end, your weight is lifted.

Going for help also makes you recognize you are not alone in your feelings, while you meet others on different stages of the same journey.

It is amazing how many are suffering in silence, but also very uplifting to see that more and more are coming forward with the hope of healing, which I know is there for each of us.
