Back from Dublin

Knowing my favorite devotion has been to the Divine Mercy which I was introduced to in the1980’s, I was very blessed to be asked to be a keynote speaker this past weekend at a Divine Mercy conference in Dublin Ireland. This is the 17th year that they’ve held this event, and thousands of people come from all over the country.

The people who organized the event were wonderful and the people of Ireland so warm and hospitable. Although it was a whirlwind  for me, in on Friday and home on Monday, I am so happy I said yes to the invitation. It was certainly a grace filled weekend for all.

Among the other keynotes was Fr Matthew Mauriello, who is the coordinator for the World Apostolic Congress on Mercy in Rome coming up from April 2-6 . http://www.worldapostoliccongressonmercy.org/
Turns out, we do not live that far from each other,  and we know many of the same people . I also carry around a picture and card of one of his favorite devotions "Our Mother of Confidence!" that belonged to my grandmother.

He was traveling with Brendan Gleeson who is in charge of finances for the Rome conference, and to prove what a small world it is, Brendan’s sister is getting married at a church where a good friend of mine is pastor…and we had to go all the way to Ireland to meet!

Thanks be to God my 2 talks went well, and by the amount of people who approached me after, there is no doubt, that to spite the fact that abortion is illegal in Ireland, there is still a great need for post abortion healing.

I hope to post more about this trip and some pictures later….
Thanks be to God for the graces….
