Holy Week

Well, here we are in Holy
week

The basis of our faith; the
suffering, death and Resurrection of Christ!

It is truly my favorite time of
year because it is the manifestation of His Mercy.

In doing the Stations of the
Cross, I have been recognizing that although I want to be like the Mary’s and
John who stood by the foot of the cross, most times, as much as I do not like to
admit it, I am like the others portrayed in the
stations,.

Sure, I try to follow Him, but
most often I am like Simon the reluctant helper, who drags himself along instead
of going gratefully, for that is what our faith is, a gift we should always
be grateful for
no matter what we are going
through.

It is hard to see that when we
are in the suffering. When our abortion, or any of the other millions of trials
of life,  may be weighing us down, but in spite of our feelings, as I
always say, if we really trust Jesus, we would be grateful for it all
knowing full well His love for us and that He is watching over us, caring for us
and leading us to our salvation.

 As we celebrate the Easter
Tridium this year, may we all unite whatever crosses we have with the cross of
Christ, especially the cross of our abortions, and thank Him for the gift of
being called forth to Him, for our faith, however weak it may appear, and for
His Sacrifice on the Cross. In the end, it is He who will increase faith in us,
and with every step of trust, we will continue to grow so that we may not only
heal, but rise with Him to new life!

A very blessed Holy Week and
Easter to all of you!

Praised be Jesus
Christ!
