Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

These are exciting times. I first heard of the "Divine Mercy" message from a friend about 18 years ago. Being so in need of God’s mercy, I quickly clung to it, devouring every bit of info I could get.

The chaplet became a daily part of my life as was going to the National Shrine in Stockbridge each year to celebrate the feast day.

Those of you have who have heard my testimony know that I end it most often, with a quote from St Faustinas autobiography.."Let the greatest sinners place their trust in my mercy…"

Over the more than 15 years of doing post abortion ministry, it have been my desire to spread this message of mercy to those suffering from a past abortion. Throughout our "Entering Canaan" post abortion ministry that I do with the Sisters of Life, the message of God’s infinite Mercy prevails.

It is so exciting to see it become world known as it continues to grow…it is also an answer to prayer to have Pope Benedict address mercy for those post abortive.

As we prepare for his vist to the states next week, may we all pray that that message reaches countless people who are separated from God because of abortion. My they put their trust in Jesus and His great love for them, and step out in trust to find the help they need and the love and healing only He can give.
