Breathe Deep, Exhale and Emerge

I have had a chance to delve into the article in the post below. One of the focuses seems to be the difficulty getting donors for the pro choice post abortion groups such as Exhale and Emerge.

It was interesting to see  the change in strategy and need to address post abortion in spite of the fact that they deny its existence . Part of the reason they are addressing it is due to to the post abortion movement and the Supreme Court Gonzales vs Carhart decision. The light of truth was shining and they were unable to put it out, so they had to think of their own tactics in order to reinvent the causes for the feelings of so many women.

The article does not say any new…it states most doctors say post abortion syndrome is a “myth”. They are comfortable in acknowledging that an “unplanned pregnancy” can lead to anxiety and depression but  refuse to  entertain the fact that abortion itself is a source of anxiety and depression.

“It’s about the relationship they were in when they got pregnant, or the fact they’re currently independent, or the relationship they had with their mother or father”
says Nikki Madsen, Associate Director of Pro Choice Resources.
yea right! When it comes to post abortion they still blame it on anything but the death of our unborn children!.

I was surprised however at some of the witness statements on the Emerge site and was happy to see they allowed them…some of the women speak of the grief from the loss of their baby. This loss is something we all share…

One focus of the article, is  the inability to raise funds …pro choice
donors are just not comfortable with “discussing abortion’s
psychological complications” . Perhaps that is because they too know
the pain is not from relationships, or issues with parents, but due to
the fact that those post abortive killed their unborn child…to admit this truth would jeopardize the pro abortion movement..something they are unwilling to risk at any cost…ironically, even the cost of women’s lives the argument that made abortion legal to begin with.
