I love this quote by Father Groeschel…I pray that all that are struggling with healing from abortion will heed his words and trust God to bring them hope..HE will!


"You can make up your mind to trust God and to believe
that out of suffering, he'll bring hope," Groeschel said. "But you
have to struggle to make that decision over and over again. There's no light
switch. A lot of books, including perhaps mine, make it sound too easy. You
make up your mind, and that's it. But I now better understand that you have to
do it, recommit yourself, two or three times a day."

    Yesterday,October 6th, on Telecare, Fr. Goeschel advised listeners to vote their conscience on those candidates who are pro-life, and if there are none, suggested they perhaps not vote. This perplexed me because John McCain and Sarah Palin both publicly state they are pro-life and will fight to protect the unborn.
    By this advice Fr. Goeschel may be causing more uncertainty in the minds of those not aware of the primary candidates’ positions and it may result in some not voting at all, wrongly thinking perhaps neither camp is in favor of promoting the right to life, and important votes may be lost entirely. It will be a close race and every vote will count.
    It would have been better for Fr. Goeschel to have advised which candidates are pro-life, and if he didn’t know, to find out!

    Hi Victoria
    I am sure he meant in all the elections and was referring to those running for congress etc, not just presidential.
    It is widely known McCain has a prolife record, but I can understand what you mean..some people may not be thinking of representatives, just the presidential race.
