The thing that strikes me about Palin’s daughter is this:
People speak about mistakes children make and about being a pregnant teenager in a way that doesn’t make sense to me.
If statistics are correct and so many teens are having sex, of course teenage girls will get pregnant! It is as if we can ignore teenage sex until there is a pregnancy.
I hope this makes sense. It just reminds me of a conversation I had once with my cousin about marriage:
She was commenting that the bride was wearing a white gown, even though she was pregnant.
My response to her was that she wore white also, and she was sexually active before marriage. But that didn’t matter to her because there was no “proof” (a baby)
We really need to change our perceptions in this world.

no rambling at all…it is crazy…
I remember a friend of mine whose daughter got pregnant in HS and kept the baby..she was tortured…yet, she knew many girls who aborted and no one said a word…
