Friday night we hosted a classical concert to benefit Good Counsel, performed by
Professor Pierluigi Sampietro. He is the pianist who was requested to play a private concert for Pope Benedict, and just happens to be in my parish.
Professor Sampietro is acclaimed in the "Who's Who in Music" and has played all over the world. A classical concert pianist, he graduated from The Mozarteum's Conservatory of Music in Salzburg. This wonderful concert was an experience I honesty cannot find the right words for, except to say, you don't listen, you "enter in to it
We were honored to have Father Benedict Groeshel, CFR, co founder of Good Counsel, of which Lumina is a program, attend as well. Although these pictures are not great, I will post them anyway..
