St Therese

Today is the Feast Day of St Therese of the Child Jesus.
I must say, besides being named after her, I love her simplicity of faith and found her autobiography "A Story of a Soul" a great help during my healing from abortion. She so trusted in the mercy and love of God that she was sure He loved us more after a fall than before, because it is in our weakness that we acknowledge our dependence on HIm.

She speaks also of how she could not reach spiritual heights we do not have to do it alone, for God does it in us.

Wish I had the diary here to accurately quote…if you have not read it, do…

Here is a quote I found:
When we accept our disappointment at our failures, God immediately returns to us.

I am sure this is true of our abortions as well, when we accept, we show we are seeing ourselves in truth…we are all sinners in need of His mercy…when we know this we allow HIm in…
