Anyone who has been through a healing program and feels ready for this, is invited to participate in Silent No More in DC this year at the March for Life

Not everyone is called to this kind of witness (which is fine) and it is important your family knows about your abortion and you have dealt with it together before you venture out into the streets. I also recommend passing it by a spiritual director and of course personal prayer.

Remember, your individual healing is more important to God than anything, and you never should feel you have to do these things to be healed…so never feel forced or obligated. It is fine if you do not choose to do this…having said that, if your ducks are in a row and you are ready, here is an excerpt from Priests for Life and registration information.

This year, also, we want to really increase the size and strength of the
Silent No More Awareness Gathering in Washington. As you know, the
women with their signs “I Regret My Abortion” march at the head of the vast
crowd. We want to have hundreds of them, and only you can help us
make that happen. If you, or someone you know, has had an abortion and has
experienced some healing and wants to take this public stand, please register at
www.SilentNoMoreAwareness.org right away. If you can
publicize this, please also do so. Especially under an Obama administration, we
want one of the first things he sees after being inaugurated to be the evidence
of how many women have been harmed by this so-called “right to choose.”

Men, too, are invited to participate. Those who have lost children to
abortion may carry a sign that says “I Regret Lost Fatherhood.” But again,
