Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

Expanding on the thought below. we have been told abortion is a decision between a woman and her doctor. Truth is, once the procedure is over the doctor is long gone the woman is left alone with her feeling and the fact of what she has just done. Taken the life of her child. The doctor is not there to comfort her in her pain or when the realization of what she has done sets in. The doctor is not privy to all the circumstances or the fears that prompt someone to abort. The doctor does not suffer the consequences if a woman is unable to have other children because of her abortion, or is suffering emotionally, spiritually or psychologically.

Abortion is between a woman and her child. Her family that is, or is to be and God. These are the people who will live with and be impacted by her decision. Not the doctor and not anyone else on either side of the issue. It is about restoring the natural order of things and reclaiming our children in the site of God.

It is never to late to reclaim the lives of our children. We may not see them in this life, but spiritually they are there with us,waiting for our healing and embrace. As we long for and love them, they long for and love us and desire the healing of their parents.

Next time someone tells you abortion is  between a woman and her doctor tell them no…it is about the bond of motherhood and family, and life and love that has been given to us by God..
