Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

The above quote is something that came to mind today as I reflected on the women and men who shared their hearts with me this week, especially the young ones.
The ramifications of abortion on our society are enormous even though we continue to live in denial of the impact it is having. The women the men, the siblings the list goes on and on.

So many kids are so lost today..they do not even have the opportunity to be kids. They grow up too fast and become sexually active way too young with no knowledge of the purpose or sanctity of sex, then if they become pregnant, they often abort without parental knowledge or sometimes at the pressure of moms who are post abortive themselves. Many feel unloved, and unwanted in this throw away society.

As we come upon the Lenten season, I for one hope to offer to God some extra sacrifice for our country who not only accepts abortion but now promotes it. I pray that as we celebrate this holy season that we all draw closer to the source of love and peace, Jesus Christ.
