Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

The past few days have been a whirlwind. Yesterday as part of 40 Days for Life we held a Silent No More in Rockland County.

Today I went down to the city to the UN for The Commission on the Status of Women..needless to say it does not promote the sanctity of life regarding abortion, but we did go to a workshop hosted by the Holy See "The Human Dignity of Women in Contemporary Society: Caregiving Within the Family".

I especially liked the presentation o f Marilyn Martone a Professor at St John's College who spoke of "The Human Person" and the importance of inter dependence and the dignity of every person.

Of course, we could not leave without getting a few shots….

The group from "Women for Life International" have been working hard all week being a pro life presence and had a packed workshop this afternoon on women and breast cancer. Pray fo rthem as they continue to witness through the rest of this week!
