On March 25th, the feast of the Annunciation, Planned Parenthood had a national "Back up your Birth Control Day"when they celebrating emergency contraception being over the counter for 17 year olds.

Whether or not they were aware, it was a feast day of Our Lady, I find it significant that they chose that day.

It is really all so surreal…

• promote sex (any kind any way anywhere for the purpose of SEX!)

• take birth control (but you are not capable of doing it in a responsible way so…

• use condoms and

• back up your contraception with EC

• When all else fails have abortions (after all this is about sex itself, not the life God intended to be created through the act of sex within marriage)

They are in the business of sex and the destruction of life..and that does not even touch on all the the implications of the behavior they promote.

Mary is the model of women..contrary to what they would have us think, true freedom comes in respect for the dignity of life and the dignity of women. At first I was upset it was on the feast of the Annunciation, but I prayed about it and I thought…try as they may, the gift of life, eternal life and mercy was said "yes" to on this day and nothing can triumph over that.
