professional association of abortion providers nationwide, said her
organization has seen a huge spike in calls to its helpline from women
looking for assistance.

“We
have consistently been hearing from women who are struggling to afford
the abortion care they need,” said Saporta. “Some who were laid off and
had to choose between being evicted or paying for their care, others
who needed to pawn their personal belongings, sold their cars, were
forced to sell textbooks, or even their blood or themselves in order to
pay for abortion care.”…

I am sure this is an attempt to stir the compassion of people so that birth control will be paid for. Why aren't these women like Saporta and McCafferty concerned with the health of women who suffer from abortion and why they are not speaking out for that?

The ploy here is ridiculous…it makes you want to think of women being put out on the street and it is societies fault because we do not pay their abortions bills…hopefully people will not fall for this false protection of women who deserve true dignity and care.
