Hope: Christian hope allows us to trust
in eternal life and know God will give us the grace to obtain it. Has the
virtue of hope enabled me to envision a life with my child? If not how am I
still having problems with this?

By the grace of God I intend to spend eternity with all my sons. There was a day when I would never have believed this, but I do now. I have come to understand that God desires our salvation..something I could not imagine before. I have also come to understand that my son desires my salvation…and that he loves me. I may have failed him but he loves and forgives me..he is "living in the Lord".

If you are still struggling with feelings of eternal damnation, pray for the virtue of hope.
