Dear Friend of Life:
The Advocates of Life sponsor an annual Mass and Rosary
procession to the Yonkers Planned Parenthood facility located at 20
South Broadway (in the heart of Getty Square). This year, the event
will take place on the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
June 20, and will also include a "re-consecration" of our pro-life
efforts to the Blessed Mother (the last time the Advocates did this was
on the same day it was prayed, at the request of Pope Benedict XVI, at
the Fatima shrine in Portugal during a pro-life conference a couple of
years ago). We are calling on all Catholic pro-lifers to attend this
beautiful event and to try to get as many people to join us. It will
be held rain or shine! The details are as follows:

St. Mary's Church (also called the Church of the Immaculate
Conception), located on South Broadway…one block south of
City Hall and next door to St. Joseph's Medical Center and
Nursing Home.
MAIN CELEBRANT: FR. JOSEPH ESPIALLIAT, ADMINSTRATOR OF
ST. PETER'S CHURCH, YONKERS (The Mass will
be in English and Spanish)

*** note of trivia: This church in Yonkers was the FIRST IN THE NATION to be
named after Our Lady's title of the Immaculate Conception. Just a little
