Rationalization and denial are wonderful things when you chose to abort. It is amazing what you can convince yourself of. Somehow, we have the ability to lie to ourselves so deeply we believe it. The words above are from a single girl beginning a masters program who chose to abort her baby.Her decision was part of the New York Times parenting blog….

She is right, a baby is too precious not to plan for…and too precious to abort. Somewhere down the road whether a year, a decade or many decades, she will see the truth as as we have…she will recognize that her degree, no matter how precious to her, will never be as precious as the child she lost and that no matter how she rationalizes or justifies her reasons, the end result is the same.
I pray she also comes to know how God is merciful, and she can go to Him.
In the meantime I will be praying for her…so sad…
