Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

I did not go to Tiller or Hern. My abortion was not in the third trimester it was in the second at about 16-18 weeks…that was bad enough.

What I saw when I gave birth to my dead son from a saline abortion was beyond comprehension and no matter how anyone tries to justify late term abortion, there is no excuse good enough for what I saw. I truly believe most people would agree.

Was my life in jeopardy? NO. But if it was and I knew then what I do now, I would gladly give up my life to allow my son to live. I know some would say, well, that would be your choice. My answer would be, no, it would be Gods choice…in the right order of things…

I was coerced by others..or as Dave Reardon would say, "socially aborted" before I ever stepped foot into the hospital where they killed my son. So many who have late term abortions have had a similar experience. Boyfriends, husbands , family members did not give them the support they needed to have their children and they gave into the pressures because these people were suppose to love them and have their best interests at heart.

Many who abort because of abnormalities are led to believe it is the compassionate thing. The guilt gets piled on until they believe killing their child would be the thing to do out of love…then they find out the truth all too late.

Abortion is not a tough issue, it is actually very simple..we should not kill other human beings. What makes it tough is that people are trying to justify that which can never be justifiable. You cannot make evil look good..some people may be blinded by their own issues and see it as a good for a while, but just as the killing of Tiller was wrong, so is the taking of the life of a child in the womb…there is no reason for debate..the truth is the truth and it will prevail in the end because it is just that.
