Abortion Violence
From what I am hearing, two pro
life activists protesting in front of a school in MI were murdered this
morning. http://www.mlive.com/news/flint/index.ssf/2009/09/antiabortion_activist_shot_in.html
May our children greet them in
heaven.
No matter what side of the issue you are on,
abortion is not a good thing. It is a violent act upon an unborn child,
killing it in its mother’s womb.
We hear many things about “anti abortion” violence, but the
violence of abortion itself is sheltered from public opinion. Perhaps because
we cannot bear to see what it is we have made legal in our country under the
guise of women’s rights.
In many ways it has backfired on women. Countless women
suffer from post abortion stress, emotionally, spiritually and physically. The
American Psychological Association, headed by pro abortion psychologists like
Brenda Major, PhD, continue to deny the cries of literally countless women,
refusing to acknowledge their pain and suffering. Our cries however, cannot be
silenced but instead continue to grow.
Our news makes heroes out of abortionists just
because they consent to kill unborn babies, while it demonizes those who speak
the truth of abortion. As a society we just do not want to know what we are
doing. It is easier to stay in denial and keep on keeping on. But that is
becoming impossible.
Now, abortion violence is not limited to the killing of the
unborn and many mothers, it has entered into the murder of abortion doctors and
pro life activists.
We cannot continue to justify and deny the truth of
abortion and not expect these things to happen. Over 35 years later, we have
all been touched. We have all lost sons and daughters, nieces and nephews and
grandchildren to abortion. Our living children know "someone is
missing", even when they are not aware of the abortion, and our
hearts are deadened from the pain. We may not know it, but with over 50 million
abortions in our country we have all been touched.
It is not the other person anymore, that we said was okay
to have an abortion while we would never have one, they are our mothers,
sisters, friends and children. It is personal and we have seen the devastation.
The truth is becoming harder to ignore as more and more women and men are
speaking out about abortions harm and learning the truth.
Abortion has never been a solution, it has added another
problem and millions of dead bodies. we can run, but we cannot hide from the
truth anymore because we live with it daily.
May we all take a deep breath and pray that God in His
Mercy will bring the truth to light through His forgiveness and mercy so all
this insanity will stop.
