Stuck on Me

Did you ever recognize that when we are depressed or struggling with things we often get "stuck on me".

Everything happening in life is seen in the perspective of how it is impacting us, even if "us" had absolutely nothing to do with it.

I know I was like that when I was healing from my abortion. I was so sensitive and really did not have much mercy for anyone. Of course, this is because I was in so much pain. A part of me reacted the way it did because  I believed it was the only way I could survive this excruciating pain I was in.

Now, when I am feeling down abut something, I try to get "stuck on you". I force myself to get out of myself by helping someone else or getting busy with things outside of myself. I try not to be sensitive knowing that most things that upset me when I feel that way had absolutely nothing to do with me.

So, next time your abortion demons are assailing you and you feel "stuck" fix your eyes on Christ instead of yourself..get busy and reach out for help. He does not disappoint us!
