Today is the Feast of the Archangels.

Michael the defender, who fought against Satan is the
protector  from the snares of the devil.

St Michael help us to dismis the traps that may be laid for us in our healing journey causing us to doubt, and instead trust in God and His love for us.

Gabriel the messenger who announced the coming of Jesus to Joseph and Mary.

St Gabriel, although we rejected the gift of life God gave us,grant us the grace now,to always hear and accept the message of God in our lives.

St Raphael, the healer who took care of Tobias on his journey, accompany those who are post abortive on their healing journeys to God. 

St. Augustine says: ‘Angel’ is the name of their office, not of
their nature. If you seek the name of their nature, it is ’spirit’; if
you seek the name of their office, it is ‘angel’: from what they are ,
’spirit’ from what they do ‘angel.’ With their whole beings the angels
are servants and messengers of God. Because they ‘always behold the
face of my Father who is in heaven’ they are the ‘might ones who do his
word, hearkening to the voice of his word.”

As purely spiritual creatures angels have intelligence and will:
they are personal and immortal creatures, surpassing in perfection all
visible creatures, as the splendor of their glory bears witness.”
