St Faustina

Divmer2

If anyone has heard my  story they would be able to understand how the Feast of St Faustina, celebrated today,  and the Divine Mercy are very close to my heart because they were so instrumental in my healing. Even since my healing, I have had many a prayer answered due to her intercession and the Divine Mercy of God.

Around this time of year in 2004,  Fr Mariusz Koch, CFR and myself were blessed to lead a pilgrimage of healing to Poland for post abortive women where we visited the shrine. We were also able to bring our book of names of the babies whose parents we have had come to our Entering Canaan retreats and place it on the altar at Divine Mercy and Our Lady of Czestochowa. It was a very grace filled trip.

St Faustina is known as the Apostle of Mercy…pray to her to obtain an acceptance of the great mercy of God for you.

J.M.J.
Adore, my soul, the mercy of the Lord,
O my heart, rejoice wholly in Him,
Because for this you have been chosen by Him,
To spread the glory of His mercy.

His goodness no one has fathomed, no one can measure,
His compassion is untold.
Every soul that approaches Him experiences this.
He will shield her and clasp her to His merciful bosom.

Happy the soul that has trusted in Your goodness
And has abandoned herself completely to Your mercy.
Her soul is filled with the peace of love.
You defend her everywhere as Your own child.

O soul, whoever you may be in this world,
Even if your sins were as black as night,
Do not fear God, weak child that you are,

For great is the power of God’s mercy.

ST Faustina, pray for us!
