“Respect Life” with Archbishop Dolan: On Sunday, January 24th, Archbishop Timothy
Dolan will speak at Mayor Amicone’s Yonkers Respect Life Week
declaration to be held at the Yonkers Polish Community Center, 92 Waverly
Street, starting at 3 PM. The event will
provide important educational information and identify resources that provide
compassionate assistance and positive alternatives for women in crisis
pregnancy situations in Yonkers and its neighboring communities. Other guest speakers will include Westchester
County Executive Rob Astorino, State Senator Reuben Diaz, nationally known
speaker Theresa Bonopartis, Director of Lumina (a post-abortion healing
ministry) as well as other prominent community and organization leaders who are
dedicated to promoting a greater respect for life. All parishioners are encouraged to attend and
show support for Life issues. Information and exhibit tables will be set
up and light refreshments will be served after the event without charge.
