March 1-12, 2010 marks the 54th session on the Commission on the Status of Women, at the United Nations here in NY. http://www.un.org/womenwatch/daw/csw/

Two great groups that have led the force for true women's rights are Molly White of Women for Life International http://www.womenforlifeintl.com/ , who has been leading a group of people to the conference for the past 6 years, and Austin Ruse of the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (C-FAM) http://www.c-fam.org/about_us/id.8/author_detail.asp who has been in every major UN social policy negotiation since 1997.

The Commission states it is dedicated "exclusively to gender equality and advancement of women." Of course, this means the promotion of abortion throughout the world.

While I never seem to make ti there for more than one day, it is frightening to see the agenda of this group and their attack on women and families under the guise of women's rights.

Please pray for all those going to the Commission and for their success in speaking out for the true dignity of women everywhere.
