There is no argument that many  people involved in abortion feel
unforgivable. Anyone who works in post abortion ministry would tell you
they hear that over and over again. They do not believe God can
possible forgive or  love them for having an abortion. We seem to
always think God's love is like our imperfect love, but it is not, He
is always there waiting for us and inviting us back to HIS love.

A friend sent me this quote which reminds us of God's ever present love no matter what. It does not mean abortion is okay, having an abortion is not something God would ever approve of, but it does mean, in spite of abortion, He still loves us and wants us to come back to Him. He even seeks us out as He did the woman at the well, who was known as a great sinner, yet He went to the well in the heat of the day specifically to meet her. He does that for each of us…

We often confuse unconditional love with unconditional approval. God
loves us without conditions but does not approve of every human
behavior. God doesn't approve of betrayal, violence, hatred, suspicion,
and all other expressions of evil, because they all contradict the love
God wants to instill in the human heart. Evil is the absence of God's
love. Evil does not belong to God.

God's unconditional love means that God continues to love us even when
we say or think evil things. God continues to wait for us as a loving
parent waits for the return of a lost child. It is important for us to
hold on to the truth that God never gives up loving us even when God is
saddened by what we do. That truth will help us to return to God's
ever-present love
