Finding abortion

"Every year thousands of women
sacrifice food, risk eviction, and pawn their possessions in order to
raise money for an abortion. Some are forced to continue the pregnancy,
abandon their education, and stay trapped in poverty.

Women face these difficult situations because the government denies abortion funding to women in need."

So read the title page of the National Network of Abortion Funds,http://www.nnaf.org/index.html a group that raises money to pay for abortions. They boast that each year they provide over 3 million dollars and "help" more than 20,000 women.

I was little taken back by this statement " women face these situations because the government denies abortion funding to women in need". No responsibility to the woman, or the man or anyone else, her situation is due to the government no paying for her abortion!

I wonder if they contribute to therapy for those who become depressed, or suicidal "sacrifice food, risk eviction, and pawn their possessions" because they are unable to work because of the trauma of the abortion they just paid for.

I wonder if they give adoption fees to those unable to  have any other children because of abortion, like this woman http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/02/18/four-abortions-now-i-ll-never-have-children-115875-22051094/

No, I am sure they do not. The only thing they are interested in in providing money for abortion.

Why is it that these groups never address the number of women who are coerced into abortion or abort because they feel like they have no choice?

I am tired of them proclaiming they are there for women and have our best interests at heart . I see the devastation of abortion every day and even though it is ignored in the press and no one wants to acknowledge the damage it does to women and families there is no denying the pain and grief abortion has caused on multiple levels.

Makes you wonder supports these places…
