Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

I am going to be writing something up later, but I thought I would share what Mary Kominsky, the other woman who testified at Columbia with me wrote on Facebook...

I think Theresa and Colleen will agree…today was an epic moment for
being Silent No More. The venue was huge…beautiful day, front and
center on one of the country's most radical, pro abortion, confused
campuses and as Theresa put it correctly…in the lion's den. We even
had police presence, semi-streakers, screamers and those who Colleen
stopped in taking over the mic. Theresa "unplugged" an angry young man
after we were finished and left him totally speechless saying.."I'm
sorry for you."

It was also a day of joy… in where we were in God's
love and mercy and just having the courage to go and talk about this
painful personal time in our lives. There was joy in the faces of the
group of Pro Life students who never waivered, holding our signs for a
good hour and a half, the faculty member who prayed during the whole
time and the students who were brave enough to come forward to talk.
Thanks Colleen for all that you do for us and your support and
encouragement!
