Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

I have written here before about my great gratitude and love for John Cardinal O'Connor and how I haunted him  about reaching out to those post abortive, and his commitment and response to that request. "Entering Canaan" would not be here were it not for him and his support. He use to kid when he saw me about being his "post abortive boss", but I know in his heart he held a deep love for those suffering and loved it when he heard from women telling him of their suffering.

May 3rd marks the 10th anniversary of his death (where has the time gone?) .

To Commemorate the 10th anniversary of Cardinal O'Connor's entrance into eternal life, on May 3rd,there will be a conference and mass at St Patrick's Cathedral. Here are the details:

Conference: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Helen Alvare, Mayor Ed Koch, Rabbi Moses Birnbaum, Edward Cardinal Egan, Mary Ward

Anniversary Mass: 5:30 pm

The crypt under the high altar will be open for prayer at the Cardinal's grave
