Fordham's respect Life group has been having it's annual respect Life week on the campus this week. We will be speaking on Wednesday.
Sunday:
Look out for Lifers handing out fliers at the 9 pm Mass
Monday:
Jill
Stanek, pro-life activist and speaker, 8:00 pm, Tognino Hall (Duane
Library, 2nd Floor). Ms. Stanek was a nurse in the Labor and Delivery
Department at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. Not only were abortions
being performed there, but babies who survived abortions were left to
die without medical care. When hospital administrators would not stop
the atrocities, she went public and became a leading national advocate
for the protection of both born and pre-born infants. Please visit her

Presentation of
the 3rd Annual Robert Byrne Award to Fordham Grad Fr. Pete Pilsner,
7:30 in Flom Auditorium (Basement of the Library). Light reception to
follow.
Candlelight Prayer Vigil, led by Fr. Joseph Koterski, SJ, 9:00 pm, Alpha House Lawn
Wednesday:
Silent
No More Awareness Campaign, 7:00 pm in Keating 109. "Silent No More
Awareness is a Campaign whereby Christians make the public aware of the
devastation abortion brings to women and men. The campaign seeks to
expose and heal the secrecy and silence surrounding the emotional and
physical pain of abortion." Please visit their website at

Thursday:
Feminists for
Life, 7:00 pm, Keating 3rd Floor Auditorium. Serrin Foster, President
of Feminists for Life, will be giving her landmark speech titled "The
Feminist Case Against Abortion," which has been recognized as one of
the "great speeches in history" in an anthology called "Women's Rights."
FFL's
honorary co-chair Margaret Colin will also be on hand to deliver her
speech "Remember the Woman." Ms. Colin has appeared in numerous film,
television and theatre productions, including "Independence Day,"
"Three Men and a Baby" and "The Devil's Own" (film), Law and Order: SVU
and Law and Order: CI (television), and "Jackie: An American Life"
(theatre).

the perfect ending to Respect for Life Week by joining us at Dr.
