An act of love?

"We believe that an abortion can be an
act of love."
Wow! That is one
of the statements on the site "45 million Voices", "What we
Believe" section.

Here is their litany of beliefs:

Values and Beliefs

  • We
believe in the transformative power of speaking our abortion stories

    We believe every woman has
the right to choose abortion without judgment

We believe abortion is a normal choice
    that women make

We believe in supporting women who have
    had abortions, no questions asked

    We believe when a woman
decides to have an abortion she is doing the very best she can

    We believe “pro-choice” and “anti-choice”
do not always speak to a woman’s experience, that there should simply be
    CHOICE

We believe in honesty, truth-telling, and heart-to-heart communication

We believe in the power of voice to heal
wounds, and to give other women the courage to act and speak

We believe abortion providers must be
    protected and supported by communities

We believe the stigma and shame associated
with abortion extends to abortion clinic staff, and these women and men
are included in our story telling

    We believe in the ability
of women to make decisions for themselves and their family

We believe that women have been terminating
unintended pregnancies for thousands of years and will continue to do so
with or with out the support of their family and society

We believe that an abortion can be an act
    of love

It is interesting to note that the more
they attempt to make abortion normal and remove the stigma, the more
things seem to be turning in the other direction.

It is
so sad to think that they can actually believe abortion is an act of love for
anyone, including themselves.

In reading about the founders, one, Kate gives as a
positive the fact that she worked for George Tiller and states she "
has
held the hands of thousands of women before, during, and after their
abortion

I have held some of those same hands  who have gone
to Tiller, but way after their abortion, when they have been filled with remorse,
and have been so distraught when they realized what they had done and how they
had been lied to.

I wonder if she has held any hands then?
