Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

I hate the politics of abortion. On one side there is still so much judgment and lack of understanding of the factors that cause a person to abort. This is not to say abortion is ever ok, but it is certainly understandable how a women whose husband threatens to leave her, or a teenager forced by parents would give in to the pressures to abort, or even how young kids who grew up in an abortion culture who may have had no one to teach them truths would think abortion is ok….

On the other side there is a total lack of compassion for women who are left sterile or suffer in any way because of abortion, because they are more fearful of loosing their "right" then they care about the women having abortions

I just read some comments to a 13 year old who was bleeding after an abortion, the comments from both sides were an embarrassment to our human race.

Lord, help me to always remember, You are the only true judge,and that includes my feelings about the comments I read…help me to always know you desire the salvation of all peoples. Help me to know that you alone see the entire truth of every situation. Give me the wisdom and strength to do Your will in my life, one day, one second at a time.

Keep our eyes on You alone,and we will never be led astray….
