More and more we hear of violent attacks against women for not getting abortions. Unfortunately, no one seems to give it much attention, even the pro abortion crowd who continually claim that they have the health and well being of the women at heart and that is why they want abortion easily accessible and legal.
Of course, anyone who really looks at why women abort and the coercion surrounding many abortiton would know that is not true. As we have often noted, the murder and violence against women refusing to abort is never a major issue with those groups, and the other day when the 13 year old self aborted with a pencil they were more concerned about her access to abortion then the fact that she was havign sex with a 30 year old man.
So, in a matter of days we can show 3 cases of violence against women..but I hear nothing from the pro abortion crowd, do you?

Waterbury,
CT (LifeNews.com) — A Connecticut man was arrested on Wednesday
after telling police he punched his girlfriend multiple times because
she refused his request to get an abortion. This case comes as another
in Memphis has a former police officer facing trial over allegations
he killed his mistress after she refused his abortion demand.
Arturo
Rojas, 41, reportedly punched his girlfriend in the stomach repeatedly
because she would not get an abortion.
The
Waterbury Republican American newspaper said Rojas was arrested Wednesday
night after his girlfriend told police she was attacked despite her
status as a pregnant woman three months along.
Office
said the woman was shaking and crying when they arrive on the scene
after she called 911. Rojas reportedly hung up the phone when she
tried repeatedly to dial for emergency help, the paper indicated.
Rojas
eventually left and came back to the woman's apartment as police were
investigating.
He
admitted assaulting his girlfriend over her refusal to get an abortion,
saying, “Yeah, I (messed) that (woman) up. She is stupid and
won't get an abortion.”

"So
when I asked her about going to get an abortion done, she cursed and
said hell no she wasn't gonna do that. She was determined that she
was going to tell her (Jones' wife) and come to my house. I asked
her not to do it. She said 'Bye, Chancy.' That's when I pulled out
a pistol and I shot her," he said.

Youth
Pro-life Mission Team to Hit the Road for Summer Christian Festivals
Washington,
DC (LifeNews.com) —
On Friday, June 11, nine high school and college students will meet
in Troy, Ohio to start the 2010 Stand True Summer Pro-life Mission
Trip. These pro-life missionaries are dedicating their whole summer
to pro-life mission work at music festivals, prayer vigils and other
events around the country.
Every summer Stand True educates, equips and activates some of the
most passionate and dedicated youth as part of their Summer Pro-life
Mission Trip. The missionaries will go through intense pro-life training
in Ohio before hitting the road. The missionaries live in a van and
tents all summer and rely on donated food and supplies as they travel
the country.
The
mission team will set up pro-life booths at major music festivals
such as Creation, Cornerstone, Alive, Soulfest, Purple Door, Ichthus
, Jubilee and many more. These festivals draw between 20,000 and 80,000
people each, and Stand True will have a major presence with their
pro-life booths.
“We
get the opportunity to talks to tens of thousands of people at each
festival and educate them on pro-life issues,” said Bryan
Kemper, President of Stand True Ministries. “We are so amazed
at how God uses us every summer to minister to girls who are considering
abortion or hurting from past abortions.”
“One
of the greatest experiences we have every year is when couples come
up to us and introduce their babies who are alive because we were
there the year before and counseled them,” said Kemper. “I
love when we get to pray with women who have been holding in the pain
from abortion for years and they finally accept the forgiveness of
Christ."
Bryan
Kemper will be speaking at many of these festivals as well as doing
signings for his new book, “Social Justice Begins in the Womb."
Right to Life of Michigan Announces Proudly
Pro-Life Social Networking Day
Lansing,
MI (LifeNews.com) —
On Wednesday, June 16, Right to Life of Michigan will host a Proudly
Pro-Life Social Networking Day throughout social networking web sites.
Prolife social networking users on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and
other sites will share links, pictures and status updates including
the message "I am proudly prolife."
Utilizing
the growing popularity of online networking tools, Right to Life of
Michigan will promote the message using their own social networking
accounts and encourage other users from Michigan and throughout the
online communities to join in the event.
Proudly
Prolife Social Networking Day was created to promote the idea that
it is easy to be prolife. Polls indicate more Americans now consider
themselves to be prolife than "pro-choice," but many indicate
they are not always comfortable speaking in-depth about their prolife
beliefs to others.
Right
to Life of Michigan hopes to engage prolife people to spread a profile
message by asking them to announce their respect for the sanctity
of all human life to family and friends with a simple and quick message.
Right
to Life of Michigan President Barbara Listing said, "We're always
looking for new ways to encourage others to spread a prolife message,
and nothing is easier than a quick online message saying you are proudly
prolife to family and friends. Sometimes all a person needs to get
more involved, start a conversation or confirm a growing belief is
a little nudge. We hope the event results in a lot of nudges across
the web."
Former Memphis Cop Kills Girlfriend After She
Refuses His Abortion Request
Memphis,
TN —
The Memphis Commercial Appeal newspaper reports that a former Memphis
police officer is charged with first-degree murder in the 2008 shooting
of his girlfriend.
Chancy
K. Jones initially was vague or silent during questioning but then
admitted shooting Phyllis Malone because Jones said she threatened
to tell his wife about their two-month affair if he did not give her
money.
Malone,
31, was found shot to death in her car the morning of September 9,
2008 at a Shell gas station at 1709 Whitten Road near Interstate 40.
"It's
not every day you get a police officer accused of murder," Armstrong
said when asked how he remembered the interrogation of Jones almost
two years later. "When he came in he looked like he had the weight
of the world on his shoulders."
Armstrong
said Jones eventually opened up and gave police a five-page signed
statement, part of which Armstrong read to the jury on Wednesday.
According
to the defendant's statement, Malone told Jones that she was pregnant
and wanted money for the baby's care and that she became upset when
he told her he would think about it.
"So
when I asked her about going to get an abortion done, she cursed and
said hell no she wasn't gonna do that. She was determined that she
was going to tell her (Jones' wife) and come to my house. I asked
her not to do it. She said 'Bye, Chancy.' That's when I pulled out
a pistol and I shot her," he said.
