Hope and Healing Weekend Retreat –
Entering the land of Milk and honey

The Hope
and Healing Weekend Retreat is an opportunity for those who have been involved
in the healing process of the Day of Prayer and Healing and the Gatherings to
delve more deeply into their abortion experience.

In the
silence of the presence of Our Lord who is exposed throughout the weekend, the
women have the opportunity to hear His voice as He reveals to them His great
love and shelters them in His mercy. This is the time for them to face honestly
their abortion decision, and the burdens they are carrying with them.

They are
invited to release the heaviness of their sin trusting that God loves and cares
for them, however, it is an individual response which allows for the healing of
each person in the time God has provided whether that be 10 minutes, 10 weeks
or 10 years.

We
continue this process throughout the year, consistently being there for them
during their individual healing process with God offering continued support,
post abortion education and spiritual guidance.

Mercy Retreat

"Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest
a while." Mark 6: 30-31

Once each year, we set aside a weekend that we named our
“Mercy retreat”. It is a time when all those who have participated in the
ministry over the years can get away to spend some time with Our Merciful
Savior, through conferences, adoration, penance and the Holy Sacrifice of the
Mass.

While abortion is addressed in this retreat, it
focuses on growing spiritually in a relationship with God, not only in regard
to abortion but throughout our lives.
