As
the trial looms nearer than it has ever been, I feel free to write this
note.  I know it may change (all things are possible)  but the closer
we are the more likely it won't.  The newest date is Sept 13th for jury
selection which I will be at. (not asking you to come to jury selection)
Because one of the main  witnesses is on vacation they said the judge
may bump it a few more days till they return.  I will find all this out
on this Thursday for definite.  But I wanted to give you all a heads up.
 A few days is not much time to prepare your schedule, I realize that.

 I
would love as much of you to attend whenever you can.  I want the jury
to see that Laura mattered to people and that all our lives have been
greatly effected by her death.  The more people, the more impact on the
jury I believe and have been told so, also by my adviser in the civil
suit.

 Young people should dress appropriately (modestly,
respectful  and casual is fine) for the court.   Court is not a good
place for little children so for everyone's benefit please don't bring
them.  They may not even be allowed, I am not sure of that.

 I
will be posting on Facebook as much as I can for those who can't make
it.  Feel free to forward to whomever you wish or quote me to whomever.

 When
you come please come up front and sit near us.  Court starts at 900am
at Barnstable County Superior Court on Rt 6A in Barnstable, MA, every
day.  You can just walk in and sit in the rear if you are arriving late.
 They do not lock the doors when it starts.
