There is nothing more man needs than Divine Mercy – that love which is benevolent, which is compassionate, which raises man above his weakness to the infinite heights to the holiness of God.” — Pope John Paul II at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Cracow, Poland on June 7, 1997
What better day to celebrate the Beatification of Pope John Paull II than on the Feast of Divine Mercy which he instituted.
As most of you know, Divine Mercy and Our Lady of Czestochowa, our Patroness, are the two devotions linked to our "Entering Canaan" ministry. They were both very instrumental in my own healing, but it was not until after my healing that I found out about Pope John Paull II's devotion to them. I also found out at a later time, that Pope JOhn Pauil had done post abortion counseling during his time as Bishop in Kracow. I always felt after finding that out that I had been drawn to them through his prayers.
I was just thinking this morning of how very blessed I am. I will be speaking at Holy Rosary Parish In Hawthorne NY ,today for their Divine Mercy Celebration. Just the fact that I, a post abortive mom, would be doing that is such a testament to the Mercy of God! Hope to see some of you there!
