Today is the anniversary of the death of John Cardinal O’Connor. For those of you who do not know, he was instrumental in beginning our post abortive ministry, Entering Canaan. For years I “haunted” him about how great the need was. He had a special love for post abortive people and promised once the founded the Sisters we would do post abortive work..please pray to and for him today! A great advocate for life!
May 3rd is also the Feast of Our Lady of Jasna Gora also known as Our Lady of Czestochwa, our patroness. Now, the Feast of Our Lady of Czestochowa is said to be in August, but it is the same icon so I am not sure what the scoop is since May 3rd is definitely the feast…trying to find out why 2 different dates for the same painting.
Anyway, invoke her…Mother of Mercy!
