Jesus_065

So, it is that time for me..time to "Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while."( Mark 6:13).

I am heading to one of my favorite places..Newport Rhode Island for week. I am not bringing a computer so there will be no blogging (or any other internet)for the week.

I leave you with part of a blog post by one of my favorite bloggers, Mark Mallett:

The message of Jesus is clear, it is beautiful, it is a love song: Your sin and shame do not repel me, but only your lack of faith since I have already died to take away your sin. You need only trust in My love and mercy, and come and follow Me…

The more a soul humbles itself, the greater the kindness with which the Lord approaches it. —St. Faustina, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary, n. 1092

My child, all your sins have not wounded My Heart as painfully as your present lack of trust does that after so many efforts of My love and mercy, you should still doubt My goodness. —Jesus to St. Faustina, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary, n. 1486

The graces of My mercy are drawn by means of one vessel only, and that is—trust. The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive. Souls that trust boundlessly are a great comfort to Me, because I pour all the treasures of My graces into them. I rejoice that they ask for much, because it is My desire to give much, very much. On the other hand, I am sad when souls ask for little, when they narrow their hearts. —Jesus to St. Faustina, n. 1578
