I have to say that being both a post abortive woman and a military family this picture on NARAL's site disturbed me

You cannot see the writing here, but the caption says "She Deserves Better", a total take off from Feminists for Life "Women Deserve Better than Abortion"

So, somehow NARAL believes that the "better" they are referring to is abortion. So women in the military don;t deserve better than abortion but deserve abortion.

"This law forces women in the military who become pregnant as a result of rape to pay the bill if they choose abortion. Servicewomen’s health insurance doesn’t cover abortion in these tragic circumstances simply because of anti-choice politics. These women are fighting for our freedom while being denied their own.

The law also forbids doctors at military hospitals from providing abortion care, even if the woman pays for it herself. Imagine being stationed overseas, alone, facing an unintended pregnancy, and not being able to access compassionate care at your own base." NARAL

Perhaps true care for women would not be having abortions just because they are in the military but helping them by giving them the support they need to be able to give life to their children. with all the rauma they face, adding abortion is not something they "deserve".
