Have been in Rockford,IL over the past few days giving trainings and assisting them with their first "Entering Canaan" Day of Prayer & Healing. Praise God, it was a wonderful weekend.
I had not been able to check my phone because I was unable to get reception where I was staying. When I got to the airport yesterday I found a message saying Fr Mariusz had had a major heart attack.I am sure most of you know how closely I work with Father. Father has been my co-developer with the men's, sibling and adverse diagnosis days. Not only is he an amazing priest, but a great support and very good friend , and someone I know, is greatly loved by all who meet him. A truly humble and selfless priest. A great gift from God to us in the ministry and everywhere.
He is currently in ICU, but doing well. From what I have been told he had chest pains and thanks be to God, was with some brothers who took him to the hospital right away where the attack actually happened . We have been told if he were not there he would not have survived.
Please keep father in your prayers as his recovery continues. It will mean much rest in the weeks ahead which I know will be a challenge to him! Please pray Our Lady of Czestochowa ties him to her mantle and does not let him do any work until he is rested and healed!!!
