Here we go again. There is this intense attempt to make it seem like participating in the death of your child and having it bother you or cause you depression is not possible. The concept itself is ridiculous and I personally think it is an insult to our intelligence to even imply or think we would believe this. Common sense tells you, of course it can cause depression. Reality will tell you, tell that to the millions of women and men suffering. Geez, even the Guttmacher Institute admits at least 10% suffer, so right there we are speaking of millions of people.
A part of me still gets mad when I read things like this, but the other part knows that as we are healed, one person at a time, the truth is coming out about abortion and all the studies in the world are not going to be able to deny our experiences.
This is just another attempt to shut us up (who exactly did they study?) and keep those suffering in denial, making them feel alone and crazy, however, it is not working anymore. Too many of us are now out there speaking the truth of abortion and what we experienced, including depression.
