The DC diocese just recently had their 1st Entering Canaan "Hope & Healing" weekend.

Dear Friends of Project Rachel Ministry:
Thank you for praying for our Entering Canaan Hope and Healing Weekend Retreat in December.
It was truly amazing!  You are so much a part of this ministry and very often you don't get to see first
hand the fruit of your prayers and sacrifices.  Below is a quote from one of the retreatants:

"I had a unique experience in my healing process. On that retreat, I experienced the mercy and love of Christ. After that retreat, I felt like a renewed woman. Now, I feel free of that guilt and the heaviness that were causing pain in my soul. Before, I was feeling the heaviness I carried around with me, but only that love of Jesus set me free on that weekend retreat. I was able to surrender to God, and left in his hands all those burdens that were paralyzing me from going forward in the healing process. Now I feel like a new woman because I have opened my heart to God."
