I always felt this made complete sense. Of course, the pro abortion sector will continue to deny it because if women knew the truth they would know abortion may be legal but in so many ways it is not safe.
Abortion interrupts the natural process of breast development, leaving the breast with more cells that can become cancerous. Elevated levels of estrogen, starting early in pregnancy, cause normal and precancerous cells to multiply and stimulate the breasts to swell; third-trimester hormones of a full-term pregnancy change cells into cancer-resistant, milk-producing tissue and turn off their growth and cancer-forming potential.
Standard medical texts acknowledge that the younger a woman is when she has her first full-term pregnancy, the larger her family is and the longer she breast feeds – the lower her breast cancer risk is. A first full-term pregnancy matures 85 percent of the mother’s cancer-susceptible Type 1 and 2 breast lobules (tissue containing a milk duct and milk-producing glands), into fully cancer-resistant Type 4 lobules.
Eighteen studies have reported a 30 percent risk increase for women who have abortions after the birth of a first child and a 50 percent risk increase for women who have abortions before the birth of a first child. Lawsuits may be filed against physicians who perform abortions and fail to disclose that the procedure might increase the chance of breast cancer.
In a 2009 study by National Cancer Institute branch chief Louise Brinton, it was found that women who used oral contraceptives (“the pill”) within the last one to five years, multiply their risk of developing the deadly triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) by 4.2 times, and if they started using these “pills” before age 18, their risk of developing TNBC is multiplied by 3.7 times.
