Gratitude- Lent

002

Had a wonderful day yesterday at St Jospeh's Seminary. The Family Life Office sponsored a training for priests in post abortion healing. The morning was presented by Vicki Thorn and then in the afternoon Fr MAriusz Koch, CFR and I did 3 hours on men, siblings, adverse diagnosis, and the sacraments.

I could not help but think of the fact that there was not one thing out there when I was seeking healing. Granted to has been over 20 years ago, but I was so very grateful to God to look out into a sea of priests who desire to learn more about reaching out to those who are suffering from a past abortion.

We still have a ways to go, much needs to be done to educate people on th eimpact of abortion in our society.A greater understanding is needed, but as with everything, we have to trust God. I know I for one am beyond grateful, for the gift of these priests who through their vocations are able to bring God's healing and mercy to those of us who have been separated because of abortion.

Today let us thank God for the gift of His mercy, for our priests and for the many ways post abortion is now being addressed in our society. Let us always remember as well, that the victory has already been won through the suffering,   death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ.

PLEASE BE SURE TO KEEP OUR SIBLING DAY IN PRAYER TOMORROW!
