Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

Our monthly "gathering" this week was focused on carrying our cross with Christ. It is a great topic to ponder in the season of Lent..

Our human nature rebels at the cross. We want to throw it down. The fact remains however, that with or without Christ, we all have crosses to carry.

Our sufferings, even our suffering as a result of abortion, provide a great opportunity for us look at ourselves honestly and recognize we cannot do anything without Gods grace. When we allow Christ to carry our crosses with us, we share in His love, and the embrace is an occasion for us to learn and grow in His understanding and peace. We need to trust in His love for us beyond all things. even abortion.

There is beauty in the Cross, and deep love. As we move into the Lenten season let us use our sin of  abortion as a source to obtain grace and growth as we carry our brokeness with Christ who is always with us showing us the way to His forgiveness, healing and peace.
