There are many faces in the gospel this week that are ours…as much as we hate to admit it, we are Pilate, we are Herod, we are Judas…we all have a little of them in us.

We love our pleasures and comforts and we, like Pilate do want to to relinquish our lives and trust in God. we continue to cling to the false notion that we have the answers and we know know better than Him what it is we need.

Today reflect a little on what ways you resemble these people and pray that you desire to do God will instead of your own.
