Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

Today is a special day to me for a couple of different reasons.

Number one,it is the anniversary of the death of John Cardinal O'Connor who was so supportive and instrumental in the beginnings of this post abortive work.

The Cardinal and I corresponded frequently when I was first healed,(he used to call me his "haunt") about the need to reach out to those who were post abortive. When I came to know him on a person level a few years later, he totally heard what I was saying and promised that when he began the Sisters of Life it would become one of their apostolates..hence the birth of our ministry "Entering Canaan"

I have to admit I still haunt him in heaven, where unfortunately for him, he is not able to get away from me. haha…Thank you, Your Eminence, for your never failing support and love!

Secondly, it is the date that King Casimir of Poland entrusted the country to Our Lady of Czestochowa's protection. 

King Jan Casimir on May 3, 1556, declared to Our Lady of Czestochowa, "I, Jan Casimir, King of Poland, take thee as Queen and Patroness of my Kingdom. I place my people and my army under your protection."
