Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

In the past couple of weeks two women (that we know of) have died from abortion.

Tonya Reaves,  died after a botched abortion at Planned Parenthood in Chicago.Tonya was left for hours at the clinic before being taken to a hospital where she died from a perforated uterus; and a girl in India who had a saline abortion. The father of the baby had deserted her so her parent took her for the abortion.

As I watch all the "War on Women" talk from the Obama campagain I become more and more convinced that the safety of women hasnothing to do with their agenda. One lie that I am totally sick of hearing is that abortion is health care.

There is a lot of talk, but a deafening silence and lack of outrage at deaths such as Tonyas. I also hear nothing from them about the horrors of some of the clinics that have been shut down because of unsafety, or anything at a ll that would regulate abortion. Abortion has become their god, and they will worship it and defend it no matter who dies or is hurt.

I feel sad today about the lives lost. The lives of Tonya and the girl from India, but also the millions of unborn and the millions of women who are suffering physically, emotionally and spiritually because of abortion. I do trust however, that most people are beginning to see the truth because they personally know someone who is suffering. There is a scream in the deafening silence that many who used to be pro choice are now  hearing and hearts are being changed. The silent screams of others, fathers, grandparents, siblings who have found abortion to be anything health care and devastating to their lives. There are also the voices of those who have been there, that are speaking out in groups such as Silent No More and Operation Outcry,  exposing the lies and damage of abortion and the truth of coercion not choice..

Mostly I trust that God in His mercy will bring an end to all of this. I do not know how, or how many more Tonyas have to die, but I do know a war is being waged,but it is not a political party, but abortion itself. I also know God wins the battle….
