Reclaiming Our Children: A Blog About Healing After Abortion

I
read an article yesterday about the Democratic Platform endorsing taxpayer
funded abortion. This is no surprise to those of us involved in this issue, we
knew it all along. It does not take much to recognize the extreme pro abortion
agenda, at the Republican convention there were protesters outside holding
"No exceptions, No excuses" signs, dressed as vaginas. Unfortunately,
the news did not allow the American public to see that.

 It
has been clear for a long time that this administration supports late term
abortions, no parental notification for minors, partial birth
abortion and even supports infanticide, leaving any babies who
may have been born alive in an abortion to die

 Even
I, a person who works in post abortion ministry for a living, cannot
believe that abortion is so important to this administration that they have
made it a major issue in this election where the economy is so terrible and 23
million people are out of work.

 They
scream about the rape and incest exception, but no one will utter a word about
countless women coerced by their boyfriends and husband to abort. We will
hear them say republicans do not care, and are waging a war on women, but when
a woman dies from abortion or is killed for refusing to abort  or left
unable to have other children (and I know plenty of them) there is a deafening
silence.

 I
have worked in post abortion ministry for a long time. We get 200 new
people a year, most seeking us out. There is nothing more devastating then
to see a women realize abortion was not the solution, but in fact added
more problems to their life. So many suffer from depression, anxiety,
nightmares, addictions and a host of other manifestations. It may take years
before they come forward, and they may even have worked hard to justify it, but
sooner or later most women regret abortion. I have had women up to 90 years old
seeking help. A woman is made to nurture and protect, it just is not normal for
a woman to kill her child.

 Abortion
not only kills a baby, it hurts women and men and countless others including
grandparents and present and future siblings. Many women hide their
"secret" and it impacts countless marriages and mother /child
relationships because she lives in the fear of being found out and are afraid
to bond with other children. Many do not voice abortions impact, but make
no mistake about it, the impact is astronomical.

 The
big mantra has been government should not be involved in abortion but no one is more involved then this
administration. In fact, government is now not only forcing us to pay
for birth control but is also forcing us to pay for other
peoples abortions. 

 This is not "safe and rare", this is boldly extreme.

If you do not know what abortion looks like, look it up and
see if that is what you really want to support. They will tell you the pictures
are lies, but having seen my aborted son I can assure you they are not. 54
million babies have died since Roe vs. Wade. 54 Million! That is not rare nor
has it been safe for countless women.

 I
have heard the Democrats took God out of their platform (it’s been put back). The
truth is, I think they took Him out a long time ago. Maybe not the word, but
certainly the life of God. God is good, and the very essence of mercy and
forgiveness. God is living.
