The blog the Abortioneers have a playlist of songs about abortion. My first thought was "have we gone so far as to think a song like the one they mention is "poetry"? To quote:

How out of touch with women can they get?
Perhaps they need to read a few poems or hear a few songs by the countless women who found aboriton anything but poetry. while I understand the guy singing wnats to make the girl feel better, he obviously does not know what they heck he is talking baout…the famous false compassion.
It truly is so sad that there is such a disconnect to the horror of what abortion is and we have gotten to the point where it is considered poetry….
